Beginner Knitting for Kids

Sign your little fibre artist up for our beginner knitting for kids class. In this class, kids will learn the basics of knitting in a fun and supportive environment. Our experienced instructor will guide them through the process, teaching them new skills and helping them create their very own knitted masterpieces. Skills learned : Cast on, bind off, knit and purl stitch, increasing and decreasing, finishing skills, how to read a pattern and basic understanding of yarn. All materials included. Students will also receive 15% off our store should they choose to expand their knitting kit Min 4 students required to run this class max 6. Kids of any age can learn to knit and you know your child best. Most kids are ready to start learning around age 7-9 We strive to make all our classes low barrier. She is well versed in teaching different knitting styles and can combine this knowledge to teach each student in a way that is comfortable and natural to them. She has training in working with children and has 2 of her own a 5 and 3 year old. Ponnie teaches independently and at shows such as Fibres West. Most of her commissioned work can be seen in Popular shows and films.
